The awnings on our porch are gone and I couldn’t be happier! I am considering this an early birthday present for myself. A lot of credit has to go to Steve for letting it happen, he really liked them.

We weren’t able to get this little fountain working correctly and the many-times-mentioned-previously-rain had created a breeding ground for mosquitoes and other bugs so we opted to just fill ‘er up with soil and turn her into a planter.

I am really looking forward to buying plants next weekend.

I picked up some paint samples from the depot and painted this little bird house up.  You can see a little of the seriously green oasis we have in our back yard.  The previous owners had green thumbs and all the spring rain certainly helped it all come alive.
