So, from what I understand the Ames’ Brothers had been in present day 2012 (as had that wily Guard) and as such knew that Alcatraz had become a tourist site and they still thought that after 50 years there would be gold behind that door?
I obviously don’t buy that.
I watch so many crime dramas/procedurals* and sometimes I wish I had a blog solely dedicated to the “for real?” aspects of different shows because there are just so many!
*back in the days of myspace [insert guffah here] my tagline was “coffee, cardigans & crime dramas.” [another guffah]
1. If Cal Sweeney knew how to order flowers in 2012 America and didn’t seem all that fazed by new security cameras and technology at the banks, how did he not know about seat belts? Seriously?
2. This was a question I had last week —> if Rebecca’s grandfather was the one she was chasing when her partner died, why were they chasing him? Was he the first one ‘63 to be in the real world? If he committed this crime and Rebecca gave a good enough description of him to a sketch artist, how did it not show up on Hauser’s radar?
(I would have hidden this behind a jump but tumblr refuses to cooperate)
I’m a fan of many things in life. Three of those things:
1. Magical Realism
2. Crime/Procedural Dramas
2. Jorge Garcia*
As such, Alcatraz is a near-perfect fit for me. There have only been three episodes so far but I have a lot questions. I’ll put them after the jump so as to not to ruin/spoil anything for anyone, you know, just in case.
(I can not promise the following thoughts are clear or in actual sentence form)
